MUMBAI STREAMING ATTACK
is a network performance study group. The group first
performed TRAMJAM V.01 – ZURICH RUSHHOUR for broadcast at reboot.fm (Berlin) in
February, 2004. In June 2004, the group presented TRAMJAM V.02 – VIENNA
RUSHHOUR hosted by Vienna’s public netbase and in November 2004 TRAMJAM V.03 –
ROTTERDAM RUSHHOUR happened at V2/DEAF04 in Rotterdam.
Mumbai
Streaming Attack gathers in-flux artists, sound artists and software engineers
with focus on networked performance, mobile interface and public participatory
event. Mumbai Streaming Attack travels the tramjam project to cities where
tramlines did or still function as a major form of public transportation. For
tramjam performance in each city, Mumbai Streaming Attack expands its members
to include local sound artists.
